The auction sheet: a car's report card.
Before an auction, an independent inspector scores every car and draws its flaws on a one-page sheet. It is the most honest document you will see about a Japanese car, but it is written in Japanese shorthand. Tap a number to see what it means. This is an invented sample.

Short answers to the questions we hear most. Details and timelines are placeholders until we confirm our policies.
What is the 25-year rule?
US law generally only allows cars that have not been built to US standards to be imported once they are at least 25 years old, counted from the month of manufacture. In 2026 that means cars built in or before 2001, with later models becoming eligible month by month. The estimator checks it for you, and we check again before bidding.
How long does the whole process take?
Searching and winning a car takes a few weeks depending on how specific you are. After you win, shipping to Houston and customs usually take about 4–8 weeks, then delivery. We will give you a realistic timeline for your car.
Do I pay before you bid?
You approve a maximum budget in your portal, and a refundable deposit is arranged with us before we bid. You are never charged for a car you do not win. (Deposit amount is a placeholder until our policy is final.)
What if I lose the auction?
It happens, since many people bid on good cars. You lose nothing, your deposit is returned or carried to the next car, and we keep looking. Your portal keeps the history.
Can I trust the auction sheet?
It is the best document available because an independent inspector writes it before the sale, but it is still an opinion. That is why we translate it, read between the lines, look at the photos and offer our own inspection on cars you are serious about.
Does the price include Texas tax and registration?
The estimator covers the car, Japan costs, shipping, duty, customs and delivery. Texas sales tax, title and registration are paid when you register the car and are not included.
